Birth, marriage and death are major moments in life. At St Michael’s we celebrate these in baptism, holy marriage and Christian burial.

Baptism
Christians recognise baptism as a sign of God at work in the life of a child, adult and faith community. At St Michael's we baptise adults, children and infants with the sprinkling or pouring of water. Parents and godparents bring a child for baptism and commit to bring up their child in the Christian faith.
Weddings
You are welcome to discuss your service of holy marriage with our vicar - in the Anglican church weddings are services of worship. We have a church that seats about 200 people and an AV system with microphones, digital projector and screen.
The Anglican church is unable to celebrate same-sex marriage.

Funerals
Funerals may be held from St Michael’s whether or not there has been a previous connection with the parish. The rose garden in the front of our church hall is a beautiful and peaceful place, and our memorial garden on the Martin St side of the church is spacious and tranquil. Please contact our vicar to enquire about a funeral or memorial service.
